In 1936, IE Miller was founded in Eunice, Louisiana as a family owned and operated trucking company providing
rig relocation services to drilling contractors located in South Louisiana.
After 46 years of successful operation, IE Miller was acquired in 1982 by the Soileau family.
New management and equipment were added, which allowed IE Miller to move larger rigs and expand geographically.
In 1988, IE Miller expanded into the vacuum truck business by providing liquid mud and saltwater hauling services.
In 1993, the company began leasing additional trucks through owner-operator leasing agreements.
This growth initiative provided a low-risk entry into new markets.
In 1995, IE Miller purchased Fowler Trucking to expand into the North Louisiana and East Texas markets.
In 1996, the assets of Heldt Brothers Trucking were acquired and IE Miller gained entry into the South Texas market.
In 2004, IE Miller's success story entered a new chapter
as SCF Partners of Houston, Texas, along with the Soileau
family, recapitalized the company and positioned us for additional
growth.
In 2005, IE Miller merged with Complete Production Services (NYSE: CPX) while additionally broadening their footprint by opening
terminals in Colorado and North Dakota. |
